Those of us who use the recycling center at the Town Highway Garage will be able to tell you that recently there has been a sea change in the way business is done there. Now there are TWO dumpsters, one for bagged garbage and a new one in the recycle shed to hold ALL recycleables! Ignore the categories hand-written on the openings and use this dumpster for cardboard, magazines, plastic, (still only 1, 2, 3 and 5), glass and tin.

Kip says that the new system has been working well. His job is now far easier, allowing him to concentrate on the business of garbage. Kip accepts garbage only on Sundays, from 10AM to 12 Noon. Bagged garbage can be deposited for $2 each, paid directly to him — no more tickets. The recycle dumpster is available any time.
