Halcott Local Flood Analysis public meeting

Mark Carabetta writes of the recent Flood Analysis public meeting:

Please find our notes from Monday night’s meeting to gather public input for the Halcott LFA here.  Between the Monday night meeting and the Halcott Fair on Saturday I believe we were successful in gathering information that will be very informative for the LFA.  Also, the interested members of the public learned a thing or two about the LFA process.  The sign-in sheet and presentation slides are appended to the meeting notes.  We have the marked up maps and accompanying notes in our office for reference as we conduct our analysis.

The next step is to settle on a date for our next FAC meeting.  The agenda for that meeting will be for MMI to present the initial findings of our hydraulic analysis, and to gather feedback from the FAC.

Planning Board minutes, January 2, 2019

Meeting of January 2, 2019

Present:  Chairman Ted Johnson, Andrew Kelder, Sec. Nancy Reynolds

Absent:  Adina Johnson, Mark Vogler

Chairman T. Johnson opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag at 6:05PM.

Reorganization: motion to reappoint Ted Johnson as Chairman, Adina Johnson as Vice Chairman and Nancy Reynolds as Secretary was made by A. Kelder, and seconded by T. Johnson. All nominations were unanimously approved.

Motion to accept the minutes of the 8/1/2018 meeting was made by A. Kelder, seconded by T. Johnson, unanimously approved.

Correspondence:  None

Motion to adjourn was made at 6:20PM by A. Kelder, seconded by N. Reynolds, unanimously approved.
